Grasys collaborates with RF Ministry of Industry and Trade

Grasys have completed design engineering under the project for «manufacturing and testing of pilot automated nitrogen compressor complex». The project was implemented as part of the federal dedicated program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation «Development of civil marine engineering». The completion of all works envisaged by the program is scheduled for 2016.

The purpose of establishment of a modern automated nitrogen compressor complex (ANCC) is the assurance of safe handling of liquid hydrocarbons including liquefied petroleum and natural gases in offshore terminals, tankers and gas carriers.

In the design engineering of the facility, the employees of the Research and Development Department of Grasys performed all necessary theoretical calculations, carried out patent research, developed the detail and engineering documentation and provided the project feasibility study.

Today, RPC Grasys has started the manufacture of the pilot automated nitrogen compressor complex. After the manufacture, the equipment will undergo multi-level control, including several testing stages.
