Grasys has supplied and commissioned a nitrogen generator for a Kirgizia based producer of snacks. The nitrogen is used during chips packing to extend the product shelf life and prevent its deterioration during transportation and storage.
The generator is designed to produce 14 cubic meters of 99.9% nitrogen per hour.
The use of the nitrogen-aided technology for packing snacks in a modified gas environment delivers the following benefits:
- Reducing or eliminating the use of preservative;
- Minimizing the return of perished products;
- Broad opportunities for expansion of sale geography;
- Reducing moisture exchange with the environment.
