The JSC “Grasys” will manufacture nitrogen and oxygen plants for major Belorussian oil refineries

The JSC «Grasys» has won the tenders for supply of gas separation equipment to oil refineries of the Republic of Belarus — the OJSC «Mozyrsky NPZ» and the OJSC «Naftan».
Within the scopes of these projects «Grasys» will undertake the whole cycle of works: from engineering design and manufacture to startup of the equipment.

For the OJSC «Mozyrsky NPZ» a nitrogen/oxygen station will be developed consisting of an adsorption nitrogen plant producing 10 m³ of nitrogen per hour with the purity grade not less than 99,95%, and an adsorption oxygen plant with the output capacity of 50 m³/h with the purity grade not less than 90%.

For another oil refinery — the OJSC «Naftan» — «Grasys» will manufacture and supply three major membrane nitrogen plants for nitrogen extraction from the atmospheric air with the total output capacity of 2400 m³/h at with nitrogen 99,6% purity grade.

Currently massive modernization is under way at these facilities. To date the refinery yield at «Naftan» is 73%, capacities of the oil-refining facilities — 8,2–8,3 MMT, at the «Mozyrsky NPZ» — about 78% and 9,6–10 MMT. Once modernization is completed the refineries will achieve the annual level of capacities of 12 MMT of oil each, having considerably increased the efficiency of oil refining.
