General information

Adsorption nitrogen plants complement the lineup of Grasys membrane air separation equipment and allow producing nitrogen with the purity exceeding 99.9% which is the highest possible level for membrane technology. Plant operation is based on the technology of air mixture separation in nitrogen and oxygen with the help of adsorbent material. Oxygen is adsorbed by the adsorbent, while nitrogen freely passes through.

The key benefits of adsorption nitrogen plants are the low energy consumption and minimum operating costs, high reliability and ease of operation.

Adsorption systems offered by Grasys may be designed for both indoor and outdoor operation. In the latter case, the equipment is provided in a block-container and operates nearly as a self-sustained source of gaseous nitrogen.

Adsorption nitrogen plants are suitable for a very wide array of applications, especially for those where fairly high nitrogen purity is required. Plants find use in chemical, petrochemical and petroleum industries, in food and pharmaceutical industries, microelectronics etc.
