Self-propelled nitrogen compressor stations
Portable nitrogen compressor stations represent high-efficiency and exceptionally reliable systems designed for high pressure inert mixture production from air.
GRASYS new-generation portable nitrogen compressor stations in the MVA series differ fundamentally from the existing analogs available in Russia and CIS due to the simplicity in operation and superior technical characteristics (capacity up to 20 nm³/min, pressure up to 350 atm, nitrogen purity up to 99.5%).
GRASYS also produces gas separation units used in self-propelled nitrogen compressor stations of PKSA, SDA series, and carried nitrogen compressor station NDA series, which are designated for nitrogen-based inert mixture production for securing explosion and fire safety.
Portable nitrogen compressor stations are recommended by Gosgortechnadzor for various industry branches.
Currently, as provided for in «Safety Regulations for oil and gas industry» (PB 03-576-03) the air compression method which has found wide application in CIS due to its high processability is prohibited for use. Mobile nitrogen compressor stations effectively resolve the issue of the compression technology application through the use of explosion-safe inert mixture.
Structurally, a nitrogen compressor station represents a self-contained unit consisting of a gas separation unit, air conditioning unit, control unit, air and booster compressors mounted on chassis or self-propelled undercarriage. All nitrogen station equipment is enclosed in a metal body. One of the station key components which is largely responsible for reliability and longevity of station operation is the gas separation unit based on the hollow-fiber membrane technology.
GRASYS produces units for air mixture separation applying the most up-to-date scientific developments in the field of membrane gas separation. The key advantages of GRASYS membrane systems for nitrogen generation used at portable nitrogen compressor stations are their high reliability, simplicity of operation, and maintainability.
MVA stations are recommended by Gosgortechnadzor for use by drilling, development, workover and operation of oil and gas wells, pay formations drilling-in, pipelines and tanks repairs and operation. Portable nitrogen compressor stations are designed for the generation of nitrogen-based inert gas mixture with oxygen content not exceeding 10% at 20 MPa mixture pressure.
