The principle of membrane oxygen plant operation is similar to the nitrogen membrane system flow process and consists in difference in the rate of nitrogen and oxygen penetration through membrane substance. The only difference is that in this case oxygen instead of nitrogen is the target product delivered under slight excessive pressure.
Oxygen with the purity of up to 45% produced by air separation membrane plants may be used across industries for resolving a wide variety of tasks. For example, this purity oxygen may be used in technological processes of metallurgical companies, in metal cutting and welding. Companies involved in fish, shrimps, crabs and mussels farming use membrane oxygen plants for incubation support purposes.
