Serial adsorption oxygen plants AKSB for cylinders filling
Serial oxygen plants in the AKSB model range designated for oxygen injection in cylinders have the capacity of 10 to 520 standard cylinders per day with the oxygen purity of 90-95%.
AKSB adsorption oxygen plants are designed for indoor production of low-cost oxygen under 5 barg at the generator unit output and 150 barg at the output of oxygen compressor for cylinders filling.
The standard AKSB delivery set includes the air compressor unit, air treatment unit, adsorption gas separation unit, oxygen booster compressor and the oxygen filling manifold. Besides, the delivery set includes gas detector and flowmeter allowing to the monitor plant output capacity.
The only requirement to the AKSB plants operation is the 380V electric power supply; whereby the system start and stop take record short time – no more than 10 minutes. The AKSB plants minimum warm-up period is a considerable advantage allowing the customer to produce oxygen only when needed and, eventually, to save electric power. This is a great benefit of AKSB adsorption plants in comparison with cryogenic plants requiring round-the-clock operation.
The operation of oxygen systems is ultimately simplified making it possible to involve personnel with no previous experience in air separation systems operation. The plants are fully automated and require only periodic specialist control during operation.
AKSB adsorption oxygen plants for cylinders filling find broad application in various industries. Among the main fields of oxygen use are, primarily, gas-flame operations, such as metals welding, cutting and brazing.
