The research and production company Grasys supplied a trailer-mounted mobile nitrogen adsorption station for Domodedovo Airport Handling CJSC involved in routine ground servicing of aircraft of the Domodedovo Airport airlines. The company actively introduces and applies advanced technologies to streamline the ground service processes and improve service quality. The winner of the tender for nitrogen system supply was the Nitropower generator based mobile station made by RPC Grasys.
The capacity of the nitrogen adsorption station is 16 cubic meters per hour of 99.5% nitrogen pressurized to 150 atm. The nitrogen produced by the mobile station is used in the airport facilities for tires inflation and in aircraft pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders.
The nitrogen adsorption station is custom designed taking into account the specifics of its application. The trailer-mounted station version allows free relocation within the airport area and requires only the direct current network for startup. Due to a high nitrogen output ratio, the Nitropower generator power input is minimized. This helps significantly cut down the nitrogen production cost and ensures its quick pay-off.
RPC Grasys continuously upgrades its gas separation technologies at its own retrofitting and testing benches for PSA (pressure swing adsorption) and VPSA (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption) air separation systems and membrane technologies. The testing benches are developed by RPC Grasys and are one of a kind in Europe.
The advantages of the Grasys mobile nitrogen adsorption stations are:
The Russian research and production company (RPC) Grasys is the leading developer, producer and ЕРСМ contractor in the field of air and gas separation in CIS and Eastern Europe.
The RPC Grasys main areas of activity are:
To date, RPC Grasys has implemented more than 700 projects for 350 companies with global reputation. The company is a holder of patents for inventions and utility models in the field of technical gases production with various methods.
One of the most important results of the Grasys R&D program is the creation of a new globally unrivalled membrane technology for hydrocarbon gases separation based on the CarboPEEK™ hollow-fiber membrane used for natural and associated gas treatment, purification and drying at production facilities.
