Specialists and managers of Grasys take part API Specification Q1 workshop

In the preparation for certification of the quality management system of Grasys for compliance with API Spec Q1, the company’s managers and leading specialists took a training course in the current and new requirements introduced by revision 9 of the standard, in particular, for risk and emergency management to ensure satisfaction of the Customer’s to the maximum possible extent.

Due to the company's involvement in the international air and gas separation projects Customers impose rigorous requirements for product quality. Meeting such requirements in the petroleum industry is confirmed by the world-known accredited certification authority American Petroleum Institute (API).

API Specification Q1 contains the industry-specific requirements for quality management systems for petroleum companies developed and maintained by the American Petroleum Institute.

The training will familiarize the specialists with both the time-proven and newly introduced QMS requirements for petroleum companies covering all stages of commercial, industrial, and managerial activities and help them use the knowledge gained to develop and improve the company’s processes ensuring their compliance with the API Spec Q1 requirements.

The workshop for the company’s employees was held by the representatives of BUREAU VERITAS RUSSIA — one of the world’s leaders in the field of certification, consulting and audit.

The API standards have proven their importance during their long-term use on a global basis. They are applied by companies with profound operating experience in the petroleum industry.
