The research and production company Grasys has supplied a membrane nitrogen station to Nortgas CJSC. The nitrogen produced is used to feed the condensate deethanizing plant at the Severo-Urengoiskoe field.
The nitrogen station consists of two standard ready-for-use 40 and 20-feet containers adapted to the harsh northern conditions.
The project additionally benefits from the use of the upgraded proprietary control system Grasys Intelligent Control-7 Version 3.0. The new intuitively understandable user interface reduces by half the period of training of the Customer's operating staff and simplifies the station control process.
Nortgas CJSC holds the license for production of hydrocarbons at the Severo-Urengoiskoe field in the Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district. By the estimate of DeGolyer & MacNaughton, the proven reserves of the Severo-Urengoiskoe field according to the SEC standards reach 157.3b cu. m of gas and 21.1m tons of liquid hydrocarbons as of December 31, 2012.
