Grasys Air Compressor Plants Have Been Shipped to Operate on Ice-Resistant Fixed Platform in Oil and Gas Condensate Field

Three low-pressure compressor plants manufacture by Grasys have been shipped to the ice-resistant platform of one of the Caspian Sea’s fields. The plants are designed to generate compressed air, to purify it from mechanical impurities and oil, to dry at hub and drilling facilities.

Compressor plants, featuring 1,500 m³/h total capacity and up to 1 MPa pressure, provide air to the auxiliary production systems, in particular:

  • compressed nitrogen generation system;
  • control system for hub pneumatic valves;
  • pneumatic conveying system for bulk materials;
  • drilling equipment control system;
  • total gas flooding system;
  • tank heating system;
  • heat supply system, steam supply and ice removal;
  • control system for desalination unit pneumatic valves;
  • pipeline and equipment purging;
  • seawater supply system gate valves blowing.

The indoor equipment conforms to climatic category MU, placement category 1 subject to GOST 15150–69. The modular container has the installed heating system, ventilation and compressors air-cooling systems, a marine air-conditioning system made in line with the rules of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

To perform operations, Grasys holds all required permits and certificates. The corporate Quality Management System conforms to international standards ISO 9001: 2015.
