Grasys Nitrogen Plant Has Been Shipped to Oilfield in the Republic of Komi

Nitrogen membrane plant has been manufactured by R&P Co. Grasys as project implementation engaging the ДНС-В1 reconstruction of the Usinsky oilfield located in Usinsky region of the Komi Republic. Owing to commissioning of some new recovery wells, enhancement of the cyclic steam stimulation and successful involvement of the edge reservoir area supplies into development, production from the field is growing in a sustained way.

The plant provides nitrogen generation and supply to receivers to be further distributed for fire fighting of furnaces ПТБ-10Э and to blowdown flare headers.

The assembly provides for two units for nitrogen generation (1 working + 1 standby) featuring 50 m³/h capacity and 1,0 MPa pressure each. The scope of supply includes four upright nitrogen receivers with a total volume of 100 m³ and 1,2 MPa pressure. Receivers are equipped with safety valves, fittings as required, pressure gages.

Based on the solved tasks, nitrogen flow is distributed as follows:

  • for process purposes — max 75 m³/h
  • for the flare header blowdown — 25 m³/h

Grasys nitrogen membrane plants are the most reliable and high-quality equipment among those currently available on the market thanks to the unique store of experience relating to the equipment in-house design.

Grasys nitrogen equipment is favored by major Russian and foreign companies for use in the oil, gas, oil refining and chemical industries.
