R&P Co. Grasys Innovation-Based Manufacturing Complex Has Been Placed in Operation!

In early November R&P Co. Grasys was permitted to place in operation its complex to manufacture membrane elements for helium extraction from natural gas.

“This is a landmark event in the R&P Co. Grasys history. The plant operation is focused on import phase-out applicable to manufacture of gas separation membrane elements widely used in various industries including oil and gas, metallurgy, food and lots of others,” highlighted Dmitry Shchavelev, General Director at Grasys-Tech LLC.

The first users of gas separation membranes will become companies producing hydrocarbons from Eastern Siberia and the Far East reservoirs. In particular, by making use of the above membranes PJSC Gazprom will extract helium at the Chayanda Oil/Gas-Condensate Field in Yakutia, which is the reserve base of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline, for further supply to the Amursky Gas Processing Plant.
