Grasys Oxygen Concentrators Help Fight COVID-19 in India. News on Channel Russia 24

India recorded 414,000 new COVID-19 cases and 4,000 deaths in the last 24 hours. In red zone of one Delhi hospital all beds are occupied. Doctors and patients were able to heave a sigh of relief, both literally and metaphorically, just a few days ago when help from abroad started to arrive at the hospital.

By now oxygen concentrators from Russia have been connected, keep running and saving lives. As many as twenty (20) of such units in total are placed in operation here.

The equipment was connected on the same night when the Emergency Ministry aircrafts brought the cargo on a special flight from Russia: 20 concentrators, 75 lung ventilation equipment, 150 bedside monitors.
“I would like to extend thank you for the help, we hope, in this critical situation we were able to equip such wards thanks to the help from Russia,” said Kamala Pandey, Head of Anesthesiology Department at Lady Harding Hospital, New Delhi.

«We have already installed and put in place everything that came from Russia. This is a very efficient and high-tech equipment. Oxygen concentrators deliver 15 to 17 liters of oxygen per minute, which is more than enough to keep patients in even the most critical condition," said Dr. Neeraj Mathur, Senior Physician at Lady Harding Hospital, New Delhi.
