CNG Station Equipment Runs in Northwestern Russia

Under the scope of implementing capital spending project on developing infrastructure for natural gas use as gas vehicle fuel, R&P Co. Grasys supplied and started equipment for CNG filling stations at one of Russia's largest bus filling stations in the Northwestern region.

The CNG filling station includes 10 methane stations and 6 combined points for refueling vehicles with diesel fuel and gasoline. It takes 10-15 minutes to fully refuel one bus with methane, while it is possible to provide simultaneously several vehicles with fuel. This has been made possible owing to high power of the installed compressors and storage capacity.

One modular container houses two ASPRO compressor units with total capacity of 2000 m³/h and room provided for the third compressor (with a view to increasing the station's capacity up to 3000 m³/h).

Another modular container accommodates (automatic) gas treatment unit with 2-line Priority Panel and a 3000-liter gas storage bank. The delivery set also includes 2-operator 2-line ASPRO gas filling dispensers and inlet valve skid with gas metering unit.
