Oxygen Plant Started in Langepas Hospital

An oxygen concentrator has been installed and brought into service within the hospital complex.

“In the past, oxygen used to be supplied from an oxygen manifold. On high rate of the COVID-19 cases, when the hospital was overcrowded, cylinders needed changing up to 20 times a day, which was costly both from physical and commercial standpoints for health care providers. By gaining oxygen self-sufficiency we increase the safety of our patients. Unlike oxygen sources where compressed gas is used, the concentrator features robust safety and efficient performance,” says Alexandr Nokhrin, Chief Medical Officer. As of this date, the oxygen plant is capable of providing all hospital departments with medical oxygen.
