A Round-Table Meeting for Long-Run Gas Separation Objectives with Representatives of PJSC Gazprom Held at the R&P Co. Grasys’ Facility

A round-table meeting for active tasks and cooperation prospects with representatives of PJSC Gazprom and JSC Grasys was held at the R&P Co. Grasys’ manufacturing facility located in Innovative-Type SEZ Dubna.

R&P Co. Grasys is the only manufacturer in Russia engaged in hollow fiber gas separation membranes and membrane cartridges. PJSC Gazprom is the core customer for the company products.

The meeting was held at the management level of Gazprom Design LLC, Core-Business Production Department of Gazprom PJSC, Gazprom Dobycha Irkutsk LLC, Advanced Development Department of Gazprom PJSC and JSC Grasys management.

The guests were given a tour around the production site and shown basic manufacturing processes for fiber and membrane cartridges, the better part of which are currently running at the Chayanda oil and gas condensate field.

The round-table participants discussed business issues and cooperation under conditions of import substitution in the oil and gas industry. In particular, a number of objectives were outlined under the current contract for reconstructing a pilot plant at the Kovykta gas and condensate field, supplied by Grasys in 2013 to perform helium concentrate recovery testing. For the time being, activities to adapt the pilot plant to various tasks that PJSC Gazprom are facing in terms of testing membrane elements for CO2 emission are underway.

Furthermore, the meeting attendees regarded the possibilities for team-work and the use of Grasys products while handling gas separation problems for PJSC Gazprom.
