Grasys nitrogen plant has been delivered to Murmansk terminal

Research-and-production company Grasys has manufactured and delivered a membrane nitrogen plant featuring 700 m³/h capacity, 95% nitrogen concentration and 0.4 MPa pressure.

The nitrogen plant is designed to degas rail tank cars when getting ready for scheduled repairs, and ensures explosion and fire safety of the process operation. The tank is filled with gaseous nitrogen, whereas liquid residue is removed. After the liquid residue has been drained, gage nitrogen pressure is vented.

The core process equipment and non-process facilities of the nitrogen plant is mounted inside modular containers designed for operation in various climatic zones subject to the GOST 15150-69 requirements while being provided with automatic supply and exhaust ventilation, heating, fire-fighting, security and fire alarm systems, external, internal and emergency lighting. Modular containers are manufactured in the desired size and configuration. Based on capacity and customer requirements, the plants are made as a single-module or multi-module configuration.
