Serial membrane nitrogen plants offered by Grasys in the MA lineup are the most up-to-date and optimally selected equipment for gaseous nitrogen production with the purity of up to 99.9%.

Serial MA plants cover a considerable range in terms of nitrogen purity — 90 to 99.9% and nitrogen production capacity — 10 to 3,150 nm³/hr. Despite the plants impressive technical characteristics as regards the product nitrogen output, the equipment is very compact and has a minimum weight.

General information

The main parts of MA serial plants are the compressor unit, air treatment unit, gas separation unit and the control system. The gas separation unit consists of specially configured modules producing required purity nitrogen from atmospheric air. Due to the use of the latest achievement, Grasys nitrogen plants are exceptionally reliable with the membrane unit operational life up to 150,000 hours of continuous operation.

MA nitrogen plants operate in a fully automated mode with automatic maintenance and control of process parameters. No manned attendance is required during plants operation. The option of flexible adjustment of product nitrogen is another significant advantage of Grasys nitrogen systems.

MA plants are efficiently used for production of inert gas mixture from atmospheric air fro the assurance of explosion and fire safety at enterprises of chemical, petrochemical and petroleum industry. Nitrogen produced by MA plants is also used in food and pharmaceutical industries, microelectronics and other sectors.

  1. The designation of generator models is provided for the basic nitrogen production mode with the residual oxygen content of 5% vol.
  2. Each generator model allows producing nitrogen in any concentration in accordance with the parameters set out in the table above.
    The capacity is referenced to the standard conditions (t = 20 °C, P = 1 atm).
  3. The parameters are specified for the gas separation unit (GSU).
