General information
The standard delivery set of AKCB plants includes the air compressor unit, the air treatment unit, the adsorption gas separation unit, the oxygen booster compressor and the oxygen filling manifold. Besides, the delivery set includes the gas analyzer and flow meter to monitor the plant throughput capacity.
For operation, AKCB plants require only 380 V power supply, while the system startup and shutdown take as little as 20 minutes. The minimum warm-period of AKCB plants delivers a considerable benefit enabling the customer to produce oxygen only when needed and thus to save electric power. This is the AKCB huge competitive edge as regards the cryogenic plants technologically meant for round-the clock operation.
Control of the oxygen systems is ultimately simplified allowing operation of AKCB plants by personnel unfamiliar with air separation systems. The plants are fully automated and require only periodic specialist attendance.
