The Russian research and production company Grasys marks its 15th anniversary. The company was set up in 2001 and, building on its expertise, ambitions and broad research base, sky-rocketed the development of the Russian market of gas separation.
Since the inception of the company, its team of technologists and engineers has pioneered the manufacturing of compact membrane plants to further proceed with mobile nitrogen stations, which proved an effective solution resolving the issues of nitrogen purging of gas pipelines in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
Later on, in 2006, the company devised a unique membrane to condition associated petroleum gas and natural gas under extreme conditions of aggressive environments. In 2010, the first commercial membrane plant for APG treatment was produced in Russia. Today, the leading domestic oil and gas companies use the membrane technology to tackle the issues of APG treatment and disposal relying on the products developed by Grasys.
Grasys has supplied, or scheduled for supply, more than 20 commercial membrane plants designed to treat gas up to the gas pipeline and fuel gas requirements effective in Russia and abroad.
In 2007, the company's specialists developed and manufactured Europe's largest adsorption nitrogen plant rated for production of 6,600 cubic meters of nitrogen per hour. For the time being, RPC Grasys is Russia's lead producer of high-duty adsorption nitrogen plants for petroleum refining and petroleum chemistry.
RPC Grasys has the world's largest list of projects implemented in the field of air and gas separation. The overall number of the projects performed by the company in 2016 went over 900! The massive supplies cover more than 500 cities and towns throughout Russia and CIS, as well as Eastern Europe.
Today, the company specializes in complex projects as part of EPCM and EPC contracts made in the field of air separation and gas conditioning and offers solutions that improve efficiency of the key manufacturing processes of our clients.
