Helium Recovery Units

The use of Grasys membrane technology for the treatment of helium-bearing gas enables significant reductions in capital and operating costs in the industrial development of large helium-bearing gas fields. This is the only effective solution for the extraction of helium on remote fields.

  • Reduction of the helium content in the product gas to meet the Customer's requirements. At the same time, the CO2 content is reduced and the gas is additionally dehydrated.
  • Generation of a helium-rich stream for further injection into the formation.
  • Generation of helium “concentrate” (40 to 90% mol). It can be used as a raw material for the further production of commercial helium.

Benefits of the Grasys membrane helium extraction units:

  • Membrane units can be operated in the range of 5% to 100% of rated capacity by connecting/disconnecting the required number of membrane modules;
  • Membranes require no scheduled maintenance throughout their service life;
