Grasys is willing to offer the Customers commercially available adsorption units, as well as tailor-made adsorption units designed by the Customer's specifications.

Grasys nitrogen units operating on the adsorption air separation principle are designed to generate up to 10,000 m³/h of nitrogen. The maximum nitrogen purity is 99.9995%.

Adsorption units can be designed for both indoor and outdoor applications.

General Description

Adsorption nitrogen generation units complement the Grasys range of membrane air separation units and produce nitrogen with a purity of over 99.9%, the highest possible level for membrane technology. The operating principle of the units is based on the separation of the air mixture into nitrogen and oxygen using adsorbent materials. Oxygen is absorbed by the adsorbent, while nitrogen passes freely.

The key benefits of adsorption nitrogen generation units are low energy consumption, minimal operating costs, high reliability, and ease of control.

The adsorption systems offered by Grasys can be designed for both indoor and outdoor use. In the latter case, the equipment is available in a box container design and is virtually a self-contained source of gaseous nitrogen. Adsorption units are suitable for a very wide range of applications, particularly where a sufficiently high purity of nitrogen is required. Such units can be used in the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, food processing, pharmaceutical, microelectronics industries, etc.
