Cryogenic nitrogen generation technology is economically feasible in the majority of cases where the customer's nitrogen requirement is greater than 99.9999% purity and the nitrogen consumption is greater than 5,000 m³/h. For nitrogen requirements above 10,000 m³/h, cryogenic units are almost always more cost-effective than membrane or adsorption systems.

Cryogenic Liquid Nitrogen Generation Unit
Only cryogenic technology is the choice when the customer needs to produce nitrogen in both gaseous and liquid forms. Liquid air separation products can only be produced by low temperature rectification technology, whereas membrane and adsorption units only produce gases in the gaseous state.
