Modular Nitrogen Generators Specifications

Modular nitrogen generators can vary in size, production capacity, gaseous product purity, and discharge pressure. In other respects, the equipment package is standardised and characterised by common specifications. The plant standardised module consists of the following key items:

  • A compressor to compress the incoming atmospheric air;
  • A filtration system;
  • A gas separation unit to produce nitrogen with a purity of up to 99.9995%;
  • Receivers, etc.

Automatic ventilation, heating, fire suppression, interior and emergency lighting systems, etc., are installed inside the modular nitrogen generation plant. The entire package ensures reliable, trouble-free and long-lasting operation of the plant. Depending on the purpose of the plant and the customer's requirements, Grasys can supply membrane or adsorption type plants with a capacity of up to 3,000 m³/h and a nitrogen purity of up to 99.9995%.

General Description

Grasys manufactures air mixture separation units based on the latest scientific advances in membrane and adsorption gas separation. A key advantage of Grasys membrane nitrogen generation systems used in modular nitrogen generation plants is their high reliability, unpretentious operation and ease of maintenance.

The plants are recommended by the State Technical and Mining Inspectorate (Gosgortechnadzor) for drilling, development, repair and operation of gas and oil wells, exposure of product formations, repair and operation of pipelines and reservoirs.

Modular (containerized) nitrogen generators combine all the advantages of the Grasys nitrogen generation units and are supplied fully operational in a standard 20ft or 40ft container. On request, the plant can be supplied in a custom-sized containerised module, or in a trailer-mounted, skid-mounted or self-propelled version.

The use of compressor equipment and instrumentation from leading European and US manufacturers, an advanced smart monitoring and control system and the perfect design of the gas separation unit ensure exceptional reliability, guaranteed performance and serviceability of Grasys nitrogen generation plants.
