Grasys Free-Standing Oxygen Plant Started in Kirov Region

Thanks to the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Kirov Region, an oxygen plant - a medical oxygen concentrator with uninterruptible power supply - was placed in operation at the Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases. This kind of equipment is designed to supply oxygen to patients in critical condition.

Start-up and commissioning so far have successfully been completed with the concentrator brought into service. Such one-of-a-kind medical equipment is designed to generate oxygen from atmosphere air. The concentrator configuration enables its operation both in summer and in winter ensuring capacity over 1000 liters of oxygen gas per minute.

According to Andrey Chernyaev, Minister of Health of the Kirov Region, by virtue of federal funding, an oxygen concentrator was previously installed in Kirov City Hospital No. 5. Before the year is out, oxygen plants will be delivered to the Emergency Hospital, Kirov City Hospital No. 2, Kirov Regional Hospital for War Veterans, Slobodskaya Central District Hospital named after A.N. Bakulev, Cardiology and Neurology Center, Kirov City Hospital No. 9. On top of that, another oxygen concentrator is expected to be delivered to the Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases.
