The plant covers the demand for medical gas at the healthcare facility in Vladimir region. It generates oxygen from the atmosphere air and is capable of producing over 700 liters per minute.
From now on the healthcare facility has become independent of oxygen vendors. This is particularly true while the incidence rate of the new coronavirus infection is on the rise and when a keen demand for oxygen may come in view.
“in the early days when the infectious hospital just opened, oxygen cylinders were to be replaced every hour if not more frequently. Subject to capacity one cylinder lasted from 20 minutes to one hour. The oxygen concentrator has essentially eased work load of the housekeeping staff and enabled more stable oxygen supply,” highlighted Vladimir Snigur, Chief Medical Officer of the Petushinsky District Hospital.
